Christian was born in Franklin Co., VA in 1811. In 1838, he married Charlotte Webster and they had a daughter, Mary Jane, born about 1840. Christian died in 1844 at the age of 33. Charlotte remarried in 1854, marrying Thomas Arthur. Daughter Mary J. is listed on the 1860 and 1880 census living with her mother and stepfather. I was unable to find either her or her parents in the 1850 and 1870 censuses. Thus, it appears that Mary never married, or if she did, she married late in life, some time after 1880.
