Frances was born in Franklin Co., VA and married Aaron Peters in 1836. They raised a family of 8 children, although one child died as an infant and two died in their teens. Following Aaron's death in 1884, Frances moved to Missouri to live with her children. She is buried in Newton Co., MO.
