Jacob was born in Franklin Co., Virginia, as was his wife, Sarah Peters. They married in 1811 and moved with Jacob’s parents to Ohio in the early 1820s. In 1839, they migrated to Miami Co., Indiana, where they spent the remainder of their life. They raised four children, two sons and two daughters. We have a record of the descendants of both of their sons, but no information about either daughter other than their names. Census records suggest that at least one daughter did not survive to adulthood.

In this way, you can scroll through a particular family lineage. The "Home Card" button (above) will take you to the first person in this lineage. If you click on either "parent" in the Web Card, you will be taken to their Person Sheet. The Person sheet contains the same information as the Web Card, but in greater detail, including dates and references. From the Person Sheet, you can return to the Web Card by clicking on the Web Family Card at the bottom.
