Elizabeth was born in Franklin Co., Va in 1789. She married Abraham Brubaker (Prupecker), who was her uncle’s brother. Her aunt (her father’s sister) had married Henry Brubaker, Abraham’s older brother. She and Abraham migrated to Preble Co. Ohio along with her father and siblings between 1820 and 1830. By 1840 they had settled in Darke Co., OH.

They raised a family of eight children, although census data from 1830 and 1840 suggests there was one additional daughter, who probably died in her teenage years. We have identified descendants from each of their children.
