Daniel Flory enlisted in the Continental Army in 1775 and died in 1792,
as an enlisted soldier. He died without issue and his brother Abram settled
his estate.
Bunderman assumed that he was a son of John Flory, apparently based on
the facts that John had two sons named Daniel and Abraham (Abram), and
Daniel's estate was settled by his brother Abram. However, Daniel was
not named in John Flory's will, which suggests his son Daniel was not
living in 1780.
Thus, it is not clear whether this Daniel was a son of John or not. In
a sense, it is a moot point since Daniel left no offspring.
