According to the 1782 partial settlement of her fathers estate,
Catharina was married to Sebastian Dunckler and was living in Lancaster
Co. In the 1790 and 1800 censuses, Sebastian Dunkel (or Dunkle) was living
with his family in Rapho township, Lancaster Co. From the census records,
it appears that Sebastian and Catharina had at least three sons and three
daughters.
However, neither Sebastian nor Catharina are listed in the 1820 census.
By this time (assuming Sebastian was approximately the same age as Catharina),
they both would have been in their late 60s/early 70s. While there are
Dunckles in other townships of Lancaster Co., Sebastian is the only
one in Rapho Township. The others may be related to Sebastian, but at
this time, it is not possible to determine any relationships.
