Following the death of her father in 1781, in a partial settlement dated Nov. 8, 1782, it is recorded that Anna is married to Henry Bower and is residing in Shenandoah Co., VA. A search of the online records for Shenandoah County identified numerous Bower and Bowers families, but they were all 19th and 20th century entries, with one exception. In the 1783 tax list, a Henry Bower is listed, along with Christian Bower. Chistian was born in 1736, died in 1815 and is buried Solomons Church Cemetery, Forestville. Possibly, Christian might have Henry's brother. Other than this single reference to Henry, I was unable to find any other record of him.
