The Club Car Diner on Lysle Blvd. Tom O'Neil writes "Originally this was just the right hand or metal part. The owner, Sammy Weinberg, think that was his last name, added on the two story brick part. Up from it but not in photo was the Star Restaurant on 5th and Locust. These two were the places to eat downtown along with Murphy's and Green's cafeterias, but Star was "upscale" always a bit more expensive then the rest."
Saloon Tom O'Neil writes "This was an alley one block east of Coursin between Lysle and Fifth. At top of photo on 5th to the right was a small saloon run by an old Serbian man."
Lysle Blvd Tom O'Neil writes "That is Balsamo's building on the right; Sinclair Street in middle. Lower building on left became post office substation; tall white building is Goodman Building. At one time there was an enormous lit up sign ad for Duquesne Beer atop it facing the river."
