Club Car Diner
The Club Car Diner on Lysle Blvd.
Tom O'Neil writes "Originally this was just the right hand or metal part. The owner, Sammy Weinberg, think that was his last name, added on the two story brick part. Up from it but not in photo was the Star Restaurant on 5th and Locust. These two were the places to eat downtown along with Murphy's and Green's cafeterias, but Star was "upscale" always a bit more expensive then the rest."

Blid's Drug Store
Saloon
Tom O'Neil writes "This was an alley one block east of Coursin between Lysle and Fifth. At top of photo on 5th to the right was a small saloon run by an old Serbian man."
