Gladys I. Pritchard
Gladys Irene Pritchard, 76, 915 Fairview Street, Elizabethton, died Wednesday, February 20, 2002, at Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Pritchard was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Herman and Destmonia Moody Campbell. She was also preceded in death by a son, William Gene Pritchard, and two brothers, Leonard Campbell and Ray Campbell.
Mrs. Pritchard was a homemaker and attended Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Spencer Pritchard, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Sue Pritchard, Chesnee, S.C., and Ronnie and Joan Pritchard, Altamont, Ill.; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Mike Glover, Elizabethton; three brothers, Paul Campbell, Harold Campbell and Howard Campbell, all of Butler; two sisters, Ruby Hatley, Elizabethton, and Lorene Miller, Johnson City; and a daughter-in-law, Betty Pritchard, Elizabethton. Twelve grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

PRITCHARD -- Funeral services for Gladys Irene Pritchard, 76, 915 Fairview Street, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, February 20, 2002, will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 22, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Campbell and the Rev. L.D. Berry officiating. Music will be under the direction of the Rev. Ronnie Campbell, soloist. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 23, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Eric Pritchard, Greg Pritchard, Spencer Pritchard, Mike Glover, Howard Campbell, Doug Hatley and Ted Lewis. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 9:55 a.m. Saturday for the graveside service.

Estel Fonce Williams, 83, 299 Blue Springs Rd., Elizabethton, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001, in the Hermitage Health Care Center following an extended illness.
A Carter County native, he was the son of the late Samuel Webb and Lorina Vanderventer Williams. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two infant sons.
Mr. Williams was a member of Hunter United Methodist Church and a retired employee of North American Rayon Corp. after 48 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel C. Williams, of the home, two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry P. And Carol Williams, Elizabethton, and Estel F. and Patty Williams, Unicoi, a sister, Pauline Boyd, Elizabethton, six grandchildren, two great-grandsons, several nieces and nephews.

Hazel C. Williams, age 85, Blue Springs Road, Elizabethton, died Sunday, June 15, 2003, at the home of a son, Estel F. Williams, 238 Allison Road, Piney Flats, Tenn., following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Percy and Lula Smith Campbell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Estel Fonce Williams, Oct. 13, 2001, two infant sons and five brothers.
Mrs. Williams was a member of Hunter United Methodist Church and attended Valley Forge United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry P. and Carol Williams of Elizabethton and Estel F. and Patty Williams of Piney Flats; six grandchildren and their spouses, Deborah and Mark Allen of Smithville, Va.; Jeffrey and Julie Williams of Houston, Texas; Benjamin and Heather Williams of Monticello, Ark.; Estel Williams III; Mallorie Williams and Haley Williams, all of Piney Flats; three great-grandchildren, Nickolas and Christopher Allen, of Smithville, Va., and
Abigail Williams of Monticello, Ark.; and a brother, Leonard Campbell, of Elizabethton.
Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, (423-542-2232) is in charge of the arrangements for the Williams family.
WILLIAMS -- Funeral services for Hazel C. Williams, age 85, Blue Springs Road, Elizabethton, who died Sunday, June 15, 2003, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2003 in the Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with the Rev. Paul Humphrey officiating. Music will be under the direction of Joel Street, soloist. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, prior to the service in the chapel. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2003 in Caldwell Springs Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be George Campbell, Charlie Campbell, Jim Campbell, John Campbell, Bill Campbell, Bob Campbell, Hobie Hyder and Hugh Buckles. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Rash, Earl Collins, Bill Cline, Dan Holder, Jerry Bowers, D. J. Townsend, Jack Perkins, Jim Boone, Trent Foutch, her friends at Valley Forge United Methodist Church, Edgefield United Methodist Church, and Hunter United Methodist Church. Those who plan to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations in memory of Mrs. Williams to the American Cancer Society, c/o Helen Wilson, 209 S. Herman Campbell
Herman Campbell, 83, 325 McKeehan Ridge Road, Elizabethton, died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at Pine Ridge Care Center following an extended illness.
Mr. Campbell was a native of Carter County and the son of the late Mike and Rhoda Fair Campbell. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters, a daughter, three half-sisters and a half-brother.
Mr. Campbell was of the Baptist faith and was a retired employee of General Motors.
Survivors include his wife, Iris Parsons Campbell, of the home; two daughters, Iris Spencer, Falerton, Ind., and Nancy Simmers, Cleveland, Ohio; two sons, Robert Campbell, Cleveland, Ohio, and Kermit Campbell, Pierpoint, Ohio; and a brother, Perry Campbell, Alburn Hills, Mich. Six grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
