Eliza G. Bowles

Eliza Bowles was the eleventh child of John and Celia (Sally) Bowles. She was born in Kentucky, almost certainly in Barren County, about 1834 based on census records for 1850-1870. She is mentioned in depositions taken in the settlement of her brother, Obadiah Bowles' will. She is also mentioned by a niece, Anna Lucille Bowles, in a listing of family members. There is no indication that she ever married. She continued to live with her parents until her mother's death; then with her father until his death about 1861. After that it appears that she moved in with her brother Henry Bowles. No record has been found for her in the 1880 census, and nothing further has been learned about her.
