A beautifully engraved atlas consisting of title-page, forty maps of the
counties of
England, a general map of England, and another of Wales.
The titles of the maps begin : "A New Map of," and end : " By John Cary Engraver
" with a date. They all bear the imprint: " London: Published by J. Cary,
Engraver & Mapseller N°. 181, Strand." and, unless otherwise indicated,
the date.
" Septr. 28. 1801."
This atlas was issued in parts from 1801 to 1809 and brought together and
published
as a complete work in the last mentioned year.

Wales, and Scotland."
