A fine large copper engraving with much detail, all four Gates are shown - detail of the East Gate, the foundations of which are visible opposite Kings Walk, also parts of the city's Civil War defences to the east following the line of the Roman walls. Link to further detail showing the North Gate, Northgate St. and St. John's Lane .
