MRS. WR PIKE,85,DIES AT HER HOME--
Mrs. Margaret Ann Pike,age 85, died at 3:15 am Monday at her home in Bloomfield Township,a mile southeast of Spring Valley. She has been suffering with hardening of the arteries and her daughter Alice has been here since February helping care for her. She was the daughter of David Darst and Sarah Elizabeth Murray, being born in Meigs County, Ohio March 9 1860 and came to Minnesota in 1887. On Feb. 22 of the following year she was married to Willis R. Pike and they purchased the 80 acre farm near town which has since been their home. Mr Pike died August 9 1925 and she and her daughters have since operated the place. She was the last of a family of 12 children and is survived by four daughters: Mrs Arthur Beach of University Park, Iowa; Alice Leon of Minneapolis; and Misses Lucy and Charlotte Pike at home. Mrs. Pike was a staunch adherant of the Seventh Day Adventist Faith. Interment in Spring Valley Cemetery.
