3. John² Darroch (John¹), dyke builder, was born 1798 in Ardfernal, Jura, Argyll¹⁰, and died 1879¹⁰. He married Mary Buie 5 July 1832¹⁰, daughter of Donald Buie and Christina Shaw.

7. Isabella³ Darroch (Duncan², John¹) was born about 1830 in Ardlussah, Jura, and died 5 February 1902 in Cornaheira, Jura¹¹. She married Alexander McLean  10 February 1859 in Lagg, Jura, according to the rites of the Church of Scotland, son of John McLean and Flora Darroch.

13. Donald³ Darroch (John², John¹) was born about 1850 in Ardfernal, Jura, Argyll³⁰, and died 1925 in Birkenhead.³⁰. He married (1) Catherine McNeill³⁰ . 1875, Glasgow.  He married (2) Ann McFadyen³⁰ 1894.

14. Mary⁴ McLean (Isabella³ Darroch, Duncan², John¹)³³ was born 23 December 1859 in Lussagiven, Jura., and died Bef. 1931. She married (2) Neil Campbell³⁴ 26 November 1891 in Breadalbane Halls, 11 Kirk Street, Glasgow. According to rites of Free Church of Scotland.³⁵, son of Duncan Campbell and Mary McDougall.
