Will of John Shacklett I John Shacklet Senior believing in the scriptures of the old
and new testament and of course the ten commandments recorded in the 20th
chapter of Exodus to be a rule of good living to both Jews and Gentiles bring a
law called holy just and good and believer Christ carry to fulfill prescriptive
part and suffered the penalty of said laws to make us a righteousness for all
pure--- people which makes us the good cause, called the Gospel see Romans 4-25
which reads thus: "who was delivered for our offences and was raised agin
for our justification" In the name of our Lord Amen I John Shacklet of the
County of Fayette and State of Pennsylvania being low in body but of sound
memory believing in the mortality of the body and immortality of the soul - do
make and publish this my last will and testament in the following manner to wit
after all my debts are paid - i will unto my wife Barbara Shacklett the income
of the one third part of my landed estate and in procurements during her natural
life - likewise I bequeath to my above mentioned wife all of my moveable estate
to be appropriated to her use during her life and at her death to be equally
divided amongst my children - secondly I will unto my children whose names is as
follows to with Sarah Jenkins Benjamin Shacklet Priscilla Horn Katherine Davis
Mary Fulton Hanna Hayden John Shacklet Blanchert Shacklet Sophia Hayden and Jese
Shacklet all my landed estate and improvements only the above mentioned
incumberances of one third to my wife above mentioned during her life - I
appoint and constitute my son Benjamin Shacklet and Charles Brownfield my
executors of this my last will and testament - In testimony Whereof I have set
