I have been a lifelong resident of Cincinnati, as was my husband, Jack.
We married after WWII---he served as a combat infantryman in Germany. We were blessed with 3 sons and
3 daughters and 8 grandchildren. I was a stay-at-home mom for 17 years, until all our children were
in school. Then I took a position as accountant for a CPA firm and worked there for 23 years.
By the time I retired, Jack was in ill health and required my care for a
few years, until his death in 1993. Since then I have been traveling, I have taken up genealogy as a
hobby, and have learned more about computers than I ever thought possible.
Shirley and I are cousins (our moms were sisters), so we share our
maternal ancestors and research.
Factoids: Marian celebrates a birthday on August 18th, under the sun sign of Leo.
