I wish to correct your interpretion of second name Ostermann.
The last /family/ name Osterman /-n/ is of German origin. The exact translation from German on English means man or men from the East.
This name is spread in many German speaking areas from Holland on the west up to Poland where the German minority lived and from Sweden in the north up to Austria and Slovenia where lived Gotscheer as the German minority. How it became a family name we must look for it in Christian mithology.
According to the Christian mithology or history /I offer an apology for introductory remark/ when Jesus was born three wise men from the East Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar, following comet-star went westwards loking for God's Child as deputation bringing him gifts gold, incense and mirtle. By Christian church they were saints nominated as Ostermanns with own first /personal/ names Gaspar Melchior and Balthasar.
So Christian started to give their own children as first /personal/ name, name of those saints as common holly name of all three saints called Osterman/-n/. So it was inherited by the descendants at begining as nick name which latter became the last /family/ name.
The name Ostermann was popular in the Middle age. After meaning Osterman/-n/ as holly name lost his sense in this area due to change common name Osterman/-n/ in meaning wise man from East. Wise man from the East were transformed in kings, and from that time up to day they were known under the holly name saint three kings, celebrated on January 6th. what was unfit for the child name.
