An Irish Clan is a family association made up of people with a common surname and ancestry, and should not be confused with Scottish Clans.
Most are members of Clans of Ireland, which was chartered
by Irish Tourist Board (Bord F‡ilte) and the
Department of the Taoiseach to promote and assist Irish Clans worldwide.
