Thom Foulks

Thomas E. Foulks

August 27, 1935 - March 14, 2004

Tributes to Thomas E. Foulks

Thom was one of the first friends I made in #GenealogyForum.  He was always happy to help when he could and he had a way of making people feel that they were his equal.  I'll always remember his stories and his patience.

Robert E. Senn (Canthro)

If anyone would like to add their memories of  Thom to this page please send them to me and I will be happy to add them

The following were edited from the guestbook that was attached to Thom's online obituary.

Vi, Thom touched the hearts and souls of many people, not only in your own community but around the world.  He was kind, gentle, caring, patient (oh boy he did he need it with some of us) and always willing to share his knowledge without limitations or boundaries.  Thom has left an imprint that time and physical absence will never remove.  When I think of him a smile washes over my face and a sparkle in my eye for the many times he and I laughed over our internet chats.  It goes without saying he will be a loss to your family and his friends but also to the genealogy world. Fondest memories Thom - may the genealogy data base in heaven be your new toy and if you think you were going to get a rest now - forget it.

It is a sorrowful time when a friend is lost, but great joy is realized when we discover that our lost friend is now in the presence of the Ancient of Days.  God bless the family & friends of  Thom Foulks, my friend.

I will remember our genealogy chats and Thom telling me about Indiana.  My paternal side being from Indiana.  Thom wrote some super stories that he shared with me and I'll never forget the one about his cat! My daughter and I really enjoyed that one.

A true inspiration and a good person have been taken away.  He was always helpful and always friendly.  Thom remembered a lot about you and it made you feel as if you were old friends. Now he is visiting with his ancestors, knowing the the answers he always searched for.
