Welcome to my Scrapbooking page. Being a genealogist and family historian is more to me than just collecting names and dates. It's piecing together the stories of my ancestors in order to pass them on to future generations. I'm a pack rat. I save everything! Get that honestly I suppose, from my grandmother, she saved everything too. A great quality to have when it comes to preserving family history. Saving things can be a great way to preserve stories for future generations if organized properly, but if not....all your "things" can become a real nightmare to the people who have to sort them out when you are gone.
The best way I've found to organize all my things is in "Acid-Free" scrapbooks. I love to put my keepsakes, photos and stories all in one place to create personal story books for my family. Here you will find tips and techniques for creating your personal story books!
This page is dedicated to the family historians, those who have a heart for leaving a legacy to future generations. It is my hope that these tips and links will inspire you to protect the memories and history that so often vanishes and is lost forever to those who come after you.
You can also visit my Preservation page for tips on photography, document preservation and other tidbits. Happy Scrapbooking!
