        2...Greenville Charles Or Green As He Was Known, Married Pricy Jane Belcher, Daughter Of John Sanford Belcher And Mary Polly Elswick Belcher. Operated A Store At Rock Lick Creek. He Bought Lots Of Land That Had Timber And Coal On It. In Buchannan County Va And West Va. Green And Jane Later  Moved To Pikeville, Ky,  They Are Buried In The Family Cemetery At Millard.  Mary Polly Elswick Was The Daughter Of John Elswick And Winnie Rowe. John Sanford Belcher Was The Son Of Bartley Belcher And Rachel Ramey.  See Photo Of Bartley And Rachel.

         

        3...David Montville Charles Married Nancy Elswick, Daughter Of Thompson And Sarah Hackney Elswick, And Lived At Rock Lick Creek. The Moved To Grundy In Buchannan County Va.  Children:

They Lived On Jack's Creek, But Later Bought The John Wesley Elswick Land. (Mile's Brother) John Wesley Had Also Married Mary Mcclanahan Vicy's Sister)  Near Conaway Creek Where They  Had A Home And A General Store. Jack Bought A Farm And Became A Large Land Owner.

        John Wesley Elswick And Miles Elswick Were Children Of John Elswick And Lucy Rowe.

        In Turn John Was The Son Of Joseph Elswick And Lucy Childers And Brother To Pricy Elswick That Married James Madison Ramey.

         

        Children: Cosby, Callie, Florence, Alice, An Unnamed Infant Girl, Vicy, Rudolph, Louise, Maud, John, Clell, Hassel, Ethel And Opal.  After The Railroad Came Through Near Their Home, They Moved To Elkhorn City Ky. They Are Buried At Millard Ky.

        7...John Wallace,(Bud) Charles  Married Florence Lambert And Lived In The Rock Lick Area. He Was Killed In An Altercation On Election Day When About Thirty Years Old. They Were Parents Of Two Daughters, Mae And Pearl.

        11..Arminda Alifair,  (Sissy) Charles Married Alex Ratliff And  Lived On Rock Lick Creek Near A. J. Charles' Old Home Place. Later They Moved To Elkhorn City, KY, Where They Owned And Operated A General Store. Buried At Millard Ky.

        Clyde, Fern, Mavis And Homer.

         

        12..Eliza Florence Charles Married Luther Damron Of Pike Co., KY, And Lived On The Charles Farm At Millard Until Her Death In 1974. Luther Had Already Died Few Years Earlier.
