We Give Thanks

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving,

and his courts with praise!”

psalms 100:4

Thanksgiving is more than a feast of food and family gatherings.

It is that and much much more. It is a unique American Holiday.

Thanksgiving comes from the heart and mind.

The people of America should now be more appreciative of our countries heritage and freedom we have so long endured. Our ancestors who fought and gave their lives for that freedom. Since September 11, 2001, we as a country, recognize how precious our way of life is here and how easily it can be destroyed. We should look at our simple pleasures more happily now.

We should thank the Lord God for all the blessings we have received in the last 225 years.

Thank you Lord for the peace from war our country has long endured.

Thank you Lord for all the blessings that overtake us, for we are blessed when we come out and when we come in. For we have stood and fed in your strength, and in the majesty of your name.

Thank you Lord, for loving America. For multiplying our people and blessing our nation above all other nations.

Thank you Lord, for all the bountiful supply of food that Americans have available to them and many jobs available to those who want to work.

Americans share and help many nations, thank you Lord for the very generosity of the american people.

Thank you for placing your name in our founding fathers, and for placing your churches among us. It is in you that we are blessed.

Thank you Lord for being an enemy unto our enemies, and an adversary unto our adversaries. For you are good, a strong hold in the day of trouble and You know them that trust in you.

The gates and courts of Almighty God are our own minds and hearts.

When we praise and give thanks, we open our minds and hearts to our heavenly Fathers

miracle working power, which is life itself.
