    Jesus Christ,
    Jehova,
    The Lord,
    The Son,
    Emanuel,
    The Highest,
    Savior,

The angel said: "I proclaim to you good news of great joy, today a Savior is born for us, Christ the Lord."

It was the most precious gift that has ever been given. God sent His only son into the world of mortal man. (John 3:16-17) It was a gift that was necessary for us. For God loves his people so much, and realized that mankind had lost their way to Him. A new covenant was provided. With it a perfect sacrifice was needed to sanctify humans in His sight. To allow us to be called His children. To make us worthy.(Hebrews 10:14)

We think of the birth of Jesus and it was not just a baby boy that was born. He is the eternal son of God. Luke 2:1-20 tells the story of God himself entering our ancient history in the flesh.
The Chapter of Luke in the bible records that historical event that took place in the days of Caesar Augustus. Joseph and Mary traveled to Bethlehem because it was the time for enrollment or to be counted for a census to pay taxes. They brought with them the savior, not yet born. The city was crowded because so many had come to be counted and there was no room for them in the inn.

We today are like that we have little room for Jesus in our life or hearts. We are crowded with sin and pleasures. Worldly cares and so called human wisdom.

Unlike men, Jesus bore faithfulness with honesty and Godly love. (Isaiah 11: 5). The Jewish religon at that time had become to attentive to manmade ritual. It left little place for worshipping God as He desired from His creation. God sent His Son to let His creation find their way back to Him. The Father desires to be worshipped in true Spirit not rituals. He desires mercy and not sacrifice. Because He loves thoses who realize their need of Him. And it was true peace that God sent in Jesus. A peace that if we find it, we will never let it go.

The angel announced "good tidings of great joy."
It is a joyous occasion we worship and obey God’s laws. There is no joy like the joy of salvation from sin.

Outside the city of Bethlehem some shepherds were watching over their flocks by night. Suddenly, an angel appeared to them and said:
    "Be not afraid..."
The coming of a Savior into the world is a cause for rejoicing, not fear.
The angel spoke to the shepherds but in a way spoke to all people.
Jesus is indeed the "Savior of the world" (John 4:42; 1 John 4:14).

No one single person is left out. It doesn’t matter which race, color, or class. Nor male or female. However, we must all obey the gospel of Jesus in order to have this salvation. let us return, glorifying and praising God for what He has done for us.

The angel said that Jesus was "a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." Jesus is "Savior" because he saves mankind from sin (Matthew 1:21). Jesus is "Christ" ("Christ" means anointed) because God anointed him to heal all mankind from spiritual illness (Luke 4:18-19). Jesus is "Lord" because he is ruler of all mankind (Acts 10:36). Will you let Jesus save you, heal your spiritual illnesses and rule your life?

The happiness and joy of the shepherds did not stop when they found Jesus. After they saw him they "made known concerning the saying which was spoken to them about this child."
Their news was too wonderful and joyous to keep to themselves so they proclaimed to all that could hear.
When you have a good thing you want to share it with others.
When he was born into this world, He filled this world with his glory.
We may wonder at the grace of God, just as the shepherds wondered at what they had seen from the angels. But let each go and find what this gift from God truly is. (Luke 2: 15)

    The Gift of Love

What a wonderful story of the birth of Jesus. At this time of the year we should remember that it is a free gift of grace offered to us to save us from our sins.God sent his angels to shepherds to tell the great joy of our Savior's birth. May he fill you with joy and make you speak to others of his gospel!
Giving ourselves to God, loving one another is the greatest of all Christmas gifts. As Our heavenly Father gave us His Son that we may live, let us give ourselves to others with joy and happiness!!

May this holy time of the year bring peace to all nations, justice for all.

"Behold I stand at the door and knock, if any may hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20). We hope your door will be open to the wonder of Christ.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Holy one.
