Many
live with anxiety all their life about dying, we all have this in front of us
from the moment we are born. As people get older, some cannot live or face the
possibilities that lay before them, without being dependant on drugs, alcohol, smoking,
or some kind of dependency. Sometimes we don’t see what others go through and
why they get so much out of drugs or alcohol. They need something to either
make them happy, just face the day, or dull the senses. Alcohol or drugs may be
the euphoric non thinking drugs for one person, but equally may make another
sick, so others cannot see why they get anything out of taking drugs or
excessively drinking alcohol. Disaster is usually the only result.
If you
can only see that God is the path that you need to take. He will bring you strength
and a strong foundation to face each day. No need to worry about death, he
brings eternal life through salvation. Through daily prayer we can face each
day with renewed spiritual strength. And know we are not alone at any time or
anywhere.
Let
nothing hinder you from your daily prayers and make every effort to keep open
the communion between you and Jesus through prayer.
We must not neglect our own private prayers. Sometimes we
pray at church and think that is enough.
While we are alone we are laid open through prayer and is heard only by
God. No other ears to receive our petitions. In private prayer we are free from
all influences, calmly reaching out to God.
God
is our tower of Strength.
Pray
in your hearts and minds as you go about your daily tasks. Silent prayer is
often the most heartfelt praying. They rise to heaven before God in Grace.
We
can uplift our hearts to God in Crowded streets, anywhere we are and Jesus will
be beside us. People who seek God in prayer and are open to receive the blessings
of God and will take a lighter step on the path in their daily walk.
Keep
all your fears, wants, joys, sorrows, and cares before God.
You
cannot weary or surprise him with your petitions.
His
heart of love is touched by all our prayers.
This
Christmas Season let us remember The Most Holy Trinity.
The
grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the
Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
2
Corinthians 13:14
All
along the Bible there is Only One God. But, again, all along the Bible, in God
there are three persons, the Father, the Son or the Word, and the Holy Spirit.
It is the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity, the most glorious mystery of God,
the greatest treasure revealed by God to humankind.
The
Trinity is a mystery, we will never understand it fully, is more glorious and
complicated than a star or an atom. When God enters the heart of a Believer, he
turns on the Light, which is Jesus, which opens the mind to the Holy
Spirit. The Holy Spirit is like an
electrical current supplying our lives with with His powerful, life-changing presence.
God:
The Father
God
created man in His own image. Man was
given a free Spirit to make his own decisions but failed in his relationship to
God. The heart of man is sinful by
nature, and needs guidance from God to help him choose wisely. So God sent His only begotten Son into the
world to point mankind towards Him. The
Son of God is a bright Light showing us the True Way to God. To help us find this Light, Jesus sent the
Holy Spirit to help teach us this Light.
The Holy Spirit is the the
completion of the Holy Trinity and is as a voice behind us saying “walk this
way”. We must heed the call of God’s
Spirit.
The
Son: Jesus Christ (Immanuel)
The
Immanuel created us, redeemed us, is in love with us... and He is with us right
now, to help us, to guide us, to fill us with the love and joy and peace that
the world can't give, right now! and, what is even better, nothing and
nobody can take it away from me, not even death! (Rom.8:28-39). Isaiah prophesied: Therefore the Lord himself shall
give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall
call his name Immanuel (God with Us). (Is.7:14). This is the Immanuel
prophesied in Isaiah 7, born of a virgin, of
Mary (Is.7:14, Mat.1:22-23)... He is the seed of the woman of
Gen.3:15...He is the same one proclaimed by Paul, when the fullness of the
time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman (Gal.4:4).
The
Holy Spirit: The Comforter
He
is the Spirit of Truth. The Truth that
comes from knowing God, the Father, and Jesus Christ, The Son. The Holy Spirit convicts us of the sin we
had in our life, and inspires us to change.
True change comes from repentance in the darkest corners of our
minds. He gudies us into all
truth. The knowledge that God sent His
son into lost world, so that all men and women could discover new life. A life that is filled with love from God
. The holy Spirit is like livng waters
to our thirsty hearts. Will you drink
from that fountain?
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through
sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of
Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. 1 Peter 1:2
