DEATH OF W. H. DYE
Willis H. Dye, brother-in-law of S.T. Baker of this place, and W. E. Baker, died
at the Soldier's Home in Dayton, Monday Evening, death being due to
tuberculosis. He entered the home for treatment of this disease. The deceased
was 77 years of age and was born near Columbus Grove. He served through out the
Civil War. For the past seven years Mr. and Mrs. Dye
lived in Daytona, Florida.
He was twice married and has four children living by His first wife. Miss Iola
Dye and Lowell Dye of Dallas, Texas; Mrs. George Jones of Columbus Grove; and
another daughter in Washington.
Mr. Dye was married to Miss Arvilla Baker 16 years ago and she survives.
The funeral services were held at Columbus Grove Thursday afternoon.
