ULYSSES STANLEY SLUSHER
Ulysses Stanley SLUSHER 96, Jamestown, died Tuesday
evening at Heathergreene II, where he had resided the past several years. He was
born June 6, 1897, in Lumberton, Ohio, the son of George W. and Mary Amanda
LeVeck Slusher.
A retired carpenter, he was a member of the Jamestown Masonic Lode #352 and the
New Jasper United Methodist Church. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Heathcock of Cedarville and
Janet Jacobs of Florida; a son, Ronald Slusher of Florida; six grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 1:3- p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Jamestown,
where friends may call Thursday from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. Masonic services will be
held at 8 p.m. Thursday, Burial in Jamestown Cemetery.
