John Shears
John Shears, 76, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Vernon Tobin, 434 E. Third St., Monday at 2:40 a.m. He had been confined to his bed eight weeks suffering suffering from heart disease.
Mr. Shears had lived in Xenia 30 years, coming here from Cedarville. Besides his daughter he leaves a son, Earl, from Columbus; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a half-brother William Kramer, and a sister Mrs. Marguerite Arnett, both of Columbus. His wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Shears, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Tobin home, Wednesday at 2 p.m., in charge of Rev. EA Wall, of Trinity ME Church, with burial in North Cemetery, Cedarville. Friends may call at the home Tuesday evening.
