Mrs. Daniel Overhulser died at Upper Alpha at the age of 84 years.

Mrs. Rachel Overhulser, wife of Daniel Overhulser, the well known horticulturist, died at her home at Upper Alpha yesterday morning about 8 o'clock. She was in her 84th year, and had been in failing health for a long time, and death was the result of the infirmities of old age. She was Mr. Overhulsers second wife and beside her husband is survived by four stepsons. They were Prof. John Overhulser, who is located at Lakeport, Cal., and who is expected to arrive here for the funeral, and Jerry, Daniel, and Luke Overhulser. The deceased was held in the highest regard and her husband will have the sympathy of all in his bereavement. Friends will meet at the house on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and the services will be held at the church at Alpha. The burial will be at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
