BELLBROOK MOON
WEDNESDAY - FEBRUARY 27, 1895
BELLBROOK, OHIO
The sad news pervades our little town this evening that Mrs. John FINLEY is
dead. She has always been an earnest Christian worker, a kind neighbor, and a
true friend to the poor and unfortunate, and ever ready to do all in her power
for anyone in the time of sorrow and distress; therefore her death will be sadly
mourned. It was thought last week that she was getting better, but a change took
place for the worse that has developed into the sad result. Everything within
the power of human agency has been done to save her. Drs. FINLEY and MCCLELLAN
of Xenia and Dr. KENT of Spring Valley have been by her bedside almost
constantly day and night since last Friday, and Miss Mollie KEMP the
professional nurse has exerted every effort in her power but all to no avail.
Her grief stricken husband has the satisfaction that he had everything done that
could possibly be. The greatest consolation of all is to have the assurance that
she will live forever with the God she worshipped in his beautiful and happy
kingdom in heaven.
Funeral will be preached from the M. P. Church Saturday at 10 o'clock by Rev.
Stover. Burial will be in Bellbrook Cemetery.
