MRS. ROLAND C. KYLE
Death of the most estimable lady at her home near Cedarville.
Mrs. Roland C. Kyle, notice of whose serious illness we made mention of
yesterday, passed away at her home three miles East of Cedarville.
Her death was caused from cancer of the face. At the beginning the trouble
was not thought to be of a serious nature, but some months ago it assumed a more
serious form and a trip was taken to Cincinnati, where an operation was
performed in the hope of giving relief. For a short time it appeared to be
successful, but it was soon found that it had resulted in no permanent relief
and her suffering, though intense was patiently born.
The deceased, who before marriage was Miss Anna Dunlap was born near Cincinnati
on May 22, 1842, and had been a resident of Greene County for the past thirty
five years. She was united in marriage with R. C. Kyle, who survives her., May
22, 1861. Mrs. Kyle was a member of the U. P. Church of Cedarville, and was a
Christian lady of high character.
Besides her bereaved husband, she leaves eight children as follows: F. J., T.
Dales and Ormond H. of Xenia, Mrs. R. C. Tannehill of Clifton, and four at home,
Ervin and Carl and Agnes and Roiana.
The funeral will take place from her late residence Friday morning at ten a.m.
standard time. Burial in Tarbox Cemetery.
