You have an interesting group of surnames - especially on your mother's side, Greg. Guess we're not at all related - I can't find any overlap with my list other than perhaps a Brown or two about 300 years ago.
"See" you on the List.

I believe I am also related to Keziah. I believe she married John Wheeler D.1844 and they had several children, one of whom was Manlove Wheeler, Sr. However, I have them in or around Deep River, N.C. (the Wheelers may have been there at time after moving from Pa.) I would sincerely appreciate any info you have of them and will share any info I have.

I enjoyed looking at your web site. My great grandmother was a Carlisle/Carlile. All I can remember of her name was Eliza Carlisle Keener. She married Clingmon Keener and they are buried in Sandy Mush, NC. She was around 90-95 when she died abt.1953 or 1954. She was supposedly from SC. My aunt said she was adopted but we aren't sure of that. Her daughter was Nellie Samantha Keener Surrett, who was my grandmother. She was born in 1888 and died 1955. Clingmon's name was possibly Jesse also, not sure about this. Have you by any chance run across her in your relatives? Also one of my gggggrandmother's was Frances Bonner B1769 Tryon Co. NC married to my gggggrandpa Samuel III Sarratt. Your pages are so interesting and I have really enjoyed looking at them. They have been enjoyable. Movita Myers

My great-grandfather, Robert Landon Guthrie, had a half sister, Sarah Moody, b. ca. 1842 in either Tn., or Alabama. Sarah Moody was the dau. of John Thomas Moody and Ann BEAL GUTHRIE MOODY. Sarah Moody married Willis Richard Bonner who was born ca. 1835 in Tn. His father was born in Ky and his mother in Tn. The Willis R. & Sarah Moody Bonner family were in Lincoln Co., Tn. in 1860, and I believe in 1870 also. In 1880, this family, along with others of their family, including Sarah Moody's mother, Ann Beal Guthrie Moody (b. 1803-Tn.) were in Navarro Co., Texas. I see that you have several Willis's in your line. Since the name Willis is not that common, I feel that he is probably of the same family that you list. Can you tell me anything more about this family?
Thank you.

I am really interested in finding out the dates of my great
grandfather and greatgrandmothers birth and death. They
were born in Indiana (I think) their son, my grandfather was
born in Connersville, In. in 1878, and died in Oakland,Ca.
in 1943. The ggrandparents names were Joshua Swallow and
Catherine Swallow nee Farrell. My grandfather's name was
Michael Farrell Swallow. Any ideas where I would start?
Any help would be appreciated.

Just discovered this wonderful site. Lydia Perry Rushing mar John C? Graham in Tenn moved to Lawrence Co Ala. I am descended through my father Clyde Mack Graham. Only recently returning to family research and John and Lydia Graham have been since 1970s my brick wall. Recognized the Owens/Graham connection. Have some original documents obtained years ago. Siblings and parents of JOhn and Lydia?

HOT DANG !! Boy have you ever been busy. You must have been born with A pen in hand and started right a'way. I am very impressed with the amount of work you have done. Enjoyed the tour of your site. I'm glad you told me about it. I have already posted several surnames to the RSL list. Bonner, Chappell, Sloan, Stewart, McPherson, Lyle, Powledge, Wood & Small. The latter (5) on my mothers side. If you happen to run across any old Bonner photos please let me know. Keep up the good work. Robert

Hi Gregg,
We would be cousins. My grandfather is John Alvin Swallow, brother to your grandfather Clint Swallow. You must have the Schlosser and Fleagle books. I was not sure so I send information about them. Happy searching.
