Barrett, William K. 3m
[Note 1: John P. and Lycurgus both have "Box 11" (married within the year) checked. I do not think this can be the case. I think those marks are used by the tabulator to indicate non-head-of-household males over a certain age, or something similar.]
[Note 2: The census index at ancestry.com has this indexed as page 738. This is in error, as "738" is the filmers numbering. Also it is said to be in Brigg's Mill township. Brigg's Mill is actually the P.O. designation.]

1860 Census, Ohio County, Kentucky, Caney District, handwritten page 152, HH#1068/1068:
Petty, Ben P. 25m farmer
*[?] Keath, Elizabeth 50f
[Keath?], Delila E. 10f
[Notes: This entry is very interesting. Note that this is next door to Thomas J. Barrett. Marriage records indicate that Thomas Jefferson Barrett married Elizabeth Ann Keath 21 JUN 1837 in Ohio Co., KY. But she is said to have died 29 DEC 1858, which, if true, obviously means this can not be the same Elizabeth Keath (or Keith). I wonder what is the relationship of this Elizabeth "Keath" to the Elizabeth Ann "Keath" who married Thomas Jefferson Barrett. Also, I can not tell what the enumerator meant to suggest as her surname and that of Delila. Perhaps it is meant to say Ben P. Petty, Elizabeth Keath Petty, and Delila E. Petty. However, if Delila is 10, then it is very unlikely that Ben is her father.]

[Note: The next entry is that of Charles Blacklock, who had married Thomas Jefferson Barrett's daughter Louisa just the prior year.]
