PRIDDY
Until 1887 Priddy was in Hamilton
County. As part of an agreement with the disgruntled
citizens of southern Hamilton County who wanted to move the countyseat
closer to their homes, Hamilton County Commissioners agreed in 1886
to move the Hamilton County line northward seven miles northward upon the
creation of Mills County.
