HUEY W. LORD

Huey W. Lord, 67, died Jan. 23 at a Temple hospital. Funeral services were held Jan. 27 at Scott’’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Townsend officiating. Burial was at Restland Cemetery.

Mr. Lord was born Sept. 13, 1935 in Converse, La., the son of J. D. Lord and Ruth Britton Lord-Vines.

He was preceded in death by his step-father Bill Vines and brother Leland Lord.

Survivors include his wife Margaret Lord; daughters Vicki Thompson and husband Boyd, Lori Thompson; sons, Allen Lord and wife Nell and Joshua Lord; five granddaughters, Ashley, Brandi, Amanda, Crystal and Cheryl.
