Henry G. Waltz was born in Carrolltown, Pa. on Oct. 22, 1871, the son of George M. Waltz and Ellen Stoltz.  

On June 7, 1899, he married Mary Philomena Thomas in Cambria County, Pa,  the daughter of Valentine Thomas and Mary Sharbaugh.

Henry and Mary Philomena had seven children:

Mary Philomena died on Aug. 11, 1945 in Irwin, Pa.  Henry died on Nov. 3, 1951, also in Irwin.
