David E. Gartner

David Edward Gartner was born on October 1, 1930 at the family home on Mt. Troy Road, Reserve Township, PA, the youngest son of Joseph Nicodemus Gartner and Marcella Barbara Mang.

Like his older brothers, he attended St. Aloysius Grade School.

As evidenced by the next few pictures, Dave seems to have had a bit of an interest with various modes of transportation:

Family rumor has it that Dave was pulled over by a State Policeman for driving a homemade unlicensed vehicle to Perrysville to see his girlfriend. I'm guessing that this would be the "motor scooter" pictured below.

Dave began dating Mary Louise Kummer. Mary Lou was born June 7, 1931, the daughter of Frederick Kummer and Mildred Mansman.
