Holyrood Abbey

The ruins of Holyrood Abbey stand just behind Holyrood Palace. If you pace about inside the roofless structure, you will find grave memorials for members of the Stewart family and their noble cousins. Look closely and you may even be able to find a few of your own ancestors, their spans on earth inscribed in stone on the abbey walls.
