27	Fine. John Sr & John Jr.  left for their respective law offices, 8 a.m. 10 a.m.
	Mrs. J.J. Golden went with me to Pere Marquette Stn. Fare I went to Bangor Mich.
	Met Dr. Giffen, Dr. Dickie, A. Cross stayed night Dr. Schaefer's  
	Saw operations 2 dogs & 1 cat

28	Fine. Dr. Schaefer, Dickie & I to Hartford & drove me to Hessey S. Cigars 50 
	Mr & Mrs Ed Hessey  Mr. & Mrs Hessey Sr. Glenn & Margarite cutting & Raking Hay.

29	Fine. Haying & Picking strawberries. Picked ripe apples & cherries from trees

1	Mr. Williams to Bangor, took train for Hamilton & Toronto 3.30 p.m. Detroit 8.45 p.m. 
	left 11.45 Lunch at Dr. Schaefer's, Dr. Giffen 3 hrs wait London. left 6 a.m.		75

2	In Hamilton 8.30 for breakfast at sister Annies & met all the Wingfields. Jack take me 
	around in car in p.m. & neice Annie (Mrs. Lorne Lambier) drove us over Hamilton in 
	evening & on the mountain							60

6.	P.M. 2.30 Melville & Rose called. Nellie, Eleanor & I motored to Uxbridge. They went
	home, I remain at Minnies, Lottie & Theo

7	A.M. Gilbert, Willie & I to Leaskdale P.M. Earnie Merrick & I to Victoria Corners 
	Wagners Lake, Leaskdale, Uxbridge

8	Called on Dr. Shier & others all day

9	Met many old timers & downtown Sat. night, large crowd				40

2	Dinner at Nicks & Tea. Geo. drove me to Uxbridge & I went to V.C. with Howard. A. 	4.00

3	Dinner at Jake Rynards & had Tea with Wilbert St. John. Harvey Acton & I to Charlie 
	Johnsons. Ret to V.C. with Mrs. Jewel & Mrs. Stevens & to Uxbridge Wes Acton 

4	Visists with Wallace & Ann. saw Sunset Quaker Hill all drove around town

5	Jack arrived from Hamilton & we visited dentist Dr. Butcher. We all had Tea at 
	Gilbert's

6	Wallace Dinner Joan & Jack ret to Hamilton, I to Dentist ordered set teeth, Sat night

7	[Hot] W. Theos. Charlie took Theo. Lottie & me to Decoration and service at St. John 
	Cemetary. Nellie & her sister Mrs. Dunlop Eleanor & Marjorie Merton called here on 
	way home from leaving Mervyn at Fen. Falls

8	Saw dentitst at 10a.m. Lunch at cafe. Wes Acton Sam Brown & I to Port Perry,

	& Carrie Love & [--] had Tea at Theo. Johnsons & spent the evening.

15	Geo & Carrie left for Toronto. W.F. Marquis drove me out to Fred Dures. Had dinner 
	& stayed over night.

16	Visited Dr. Frank Dure, He drove me to Uxbridge & back & to Wilmot Greggs, R. 
	Acton, [Co] Merrick & to Charley Johnsons Violas, Pauline & I visited Louis Douglas 
	& had heavy rain.

21	Sunday, fine. Took Minnie to S.S. called Willie Merrick. Saw daughters Mahala 
	[Isabella], Teresa, W.F. Marquis, Melville & Rose for dinner & tea. Gilbert. Min. & I 
	spent evening at [Thurs]

22	Fine. Downtown. Lottie & I called on Mrs. Howsaw & Ruth Wilkinson. Miss McGregor 
	& Mrs. Ward. Gilbert drove us home. Howard Acton & Lloyd called.

24	Cloudy. Dinner Thos. Olivers saw Bess Horn (Mr. Wm Lusk) Eliza & [Brecie] Rynard 
	(Mrs Harper Goodwood) Mrs. Kester. Toronto. Took field day in park. To Gilberts 
	late for Tea.

25	P.M. We & Mrs. Munro & sister to V.C. Lloyd Acton, Howard Norman & C. Johnson 
	to Sunderland. Saw Dr. Oliver Art Bristow (Elva McKay) Mrs. Roy [Morisson] Home & 
	stayed at Charley Johnson								1.00

26	A.M. Charleys to J. Collerans, Miss Margaret English there. Jack drove me to 
	Uxbrdige saw Dr. Shier

27	At Gilberts To P.O. Letter from Wiss. Love Harold home from [Cuba cost] Big crowd 
	in street evening. Home. G's

28	Fine. took Minnie to S.S. & then to Ray Merricks & saw baby, [Achiew] to Geo Shier 
	P.M. Gilbert & Min, Theo & Lottie, Floss & I to Clew Major & Claremont, saw Dr. & 
	Fred Tomlinson. Theo & Lottie for T. W.F. Marquis spent evening.

4	To Church at Hamilton. Wallace, Annie & I Mrs. Lorne Lambier (Annie) took us for 
	drive & lunch. (Alex & Marie, Donald & baby Mary & me to Mountain)

5	Labor Day, Dr. Alex Wingfield 9. a.m. (nephew) took Wallace, Diana & me & John & 
	Joan Lambier & son Donald from Hamilton via Grimsby, Beausfield City St. 
	Catharines, to Welland & saw Welland canal & locks, saw the Alabama (Passenger) 
	Detroit & two heavy frieghters. [grain its] going through. Thur to Niagara Falls (15 
	mils) viewed both American & Can Falls. Grand day. Home 4.30. Lorne Lambier 
	called in evening & took Wallace & I down to City Hall. John W. (nephew) drove me 
	down to Beach & Lake in morning. Morning grand. stiff breeze. Bay choppy. Police 
	cutter out, couple small sail boats upset						1.00

6	Fine. Wallace goes to work & school opens. Dr. Wingfield goes to teaching also 
	A.M. complete diary & correspondence. Jack, Diana & I motored to bay. Saw Boat 
	coming in. Dr. Alex called & took me Marie & Donald to Dundas & over city. Had T. 
	with them, Jack called  & we went to Show "Beau Hunks". Had lunch & home.

7	Raining, correspondence, Jack, Diana & I to Market. I met Wallace at his office

8	Jack Diana & I motored to Market & Bay (rough) Art, Mix, Bot Whistle, dinner, Music 
	& Radio

9	Visited Hamilton said good bye. Train for Hamilton shipped trunk to White Fox. 
	Arrived London 3 p.m. Bot ticket to Atwood. Met by John Sanders at Listowel saving 
	1 1/4 hours wait. Met David Sanders & wife Jean & John & Thomas, Charlotte, 
	Peggy & Mary Loves, Jord Brown & Eva Sanders

10	Church 11 a.m. motored to Barretts & countryside

13	Geo Love & Carrie took car to Ettie Lakes & Isaacs. Met Leslie & Eleanor Lake & 
	Charlie (son) Eleanor & her mother & Charlie took me to Brussells to John & Mary 
	Sanders. John & I went to Walton 6 m. S to Winthrope 5 m. S. Seaforth 6 m. S & 
	Clinton 12 m. W. Lonsborough 5 M. N Blythe 8 M. N thru to Lily Sanders (Mrs. Jas [I] 
	Spivey) 5 m E & 1 m N to Brussells

14	9 A.M. 30 m to Goderich via Auburn, Blythe. Saw salt works, docks, Purity Flour Mill 
	& town. P.M. Brussells to Wingham 14 Saw Baseball Clinton - Wingham score C-6 & 
	W-5 Good play.

15	Fine weather. Saw Flossie Campbell. John Worked. Wait for mail. P.M. drove to Fox 
	farm, Armstrongs Blakes & to Isaac Lakes for Tea

16	Leslie Lake [Nurshing] saw Charlie Lake & wife Eleanor. Mrs Robinson visitor here. I 
	entertained. Eleanor & I took Mrs. Robinson to Albert Whitfields & her mother Mrs. 
	Englar each home.

17	Visited Leslie & scared Charlie by Ventriloquism. Eleanor took Ettie Charlie & I to Mr 
	& Mrs Bruce (Beretia Mildred Speran). 4 P.M.

18	Visited at Ettie Lakes. Leslie & wife Eleanor & Ettie took me to Dave Sanders. 
	Atwood, the Loves there. Had singing Nellie (Mrs. Wes Sanders) & Eleanor Mr & 
	Mrs Black (sister) & Mrs Rabb mother called to see me

19	Geo Love took me to Milverton Stn C.N.R. 9 A.M. London for noon Saw Windsor & 
	Detroit

20	Reached Grand Rapids 8.30 wait 3 1/2 hours. 11.57 Chicago 6.30 leave B Stream

21	Left for St. Paul. Called at John Golden 407 Warner Ave. Winnie & Baby girls 2 
	weeks Chicago to St Paul 7.25 P.M. for Emerson Wpg 8 train leaves 10.30

22	on train all night. Met Harvey U. Student, Stoon. Fair, at Yorkton. Met Mrs. Joe Neilly 
	& her Brandon friend Mrs. Axford. Met Mrs Quist & Ms. Paulson & mother of 
	Minneapolis going to Fostin. Took Mrs Nelly & Mrs Axford to lunch at Rose Valley. 
	Arrived in Nipawin & came home with Dave Jacobs truck Exp Sp 6 to 22 stayed Hoy 
	Myers for night after attending Carters Farewell, Hall	    				18.35
