The COLEMAN Chapel Cemetery


The following information was graciously provided by Carol Riner Everett.
Coleman Chapel Cemetery Inscriptions Emanuel County, GA

The Coleman's Chapel Cemetery was established on land donated by 
Jeremiah Coleman in the 1800's before the Civil War.  It is located in 
Emanuel County, Georgia about 5 miles past Swainsboro off of Highway 56 
South on County Road # 175 (Bass Road).

From the center of Swainsboro, go southwest 3.3 miles on GA 56. Turn 
right onto Bass Road and go one mile. The cemetery is on the right.

Note: There are at least 8 unmarked gravesites.
Note: The information is printed here exactly as it was found on the 
tombstones, with all errors and misspellings intact.
