At a court held for Henrico county the second
day of February 1735 this will was presented
by the Executor therein named upon oath and
proved by the oath of John Griffin and Arch
Hix, two of the witness thereto whereupon it
was admitted to record.
Note: In the original, the date is given 1735 and is obviously a mistake; it should have been 1736. It has
been questioned if George died in 1735 or in early 1736, however there is another deed in Henrico. Co. Va
dated 17 Dec. 1735, which says in part "the land to be divided according to the will of George Freeman,
deceased." Therefore; George died between the third day of October and the 17th day of December of
1735..
This documentation includes abstractions from Henrico Co., VA public files,

1725-1735 p544,3 May 1736, and including other references to distribution of
George Freeman's land.
