In the name of God. Amen.
I, John Freeman of the county and State aforesaid being of sound mind and memory but knowing it is appointed unto all men once to die, do make and constitue this my last will and testament.
And First, I give to my beloved wife Elizabeth Freeman during her natural life the use of the plantation and tract of land whereon I now live, except the part of it which my son Jacob Freeman has now in my possession. Aslo the plantation tools of every sort and description, the horses, the ox cart, the young yoke of oxen. My bed and house hold property except such as I shall hereafter in this instrument will away to my children. Also I give the use of my Negro boy Manuel to my wife during her life and after her death I give the said Negro to my son Robert, forever.
To my son Moses I give my old yoke of oxen and one feather bed and furniture.
To my daughter Sally I give one feather bed, bedstand and furniture.
It is my wish that my son Jacob Freeman shall at his own expense go and sell the tract of land I own in Henry County and divide the money arising therefrom equally between my wife and children, giving to each one an equal sum. It is my wish that all which I have given my wife the use of during her life time be equally divided between my children at the death of my said wife.
If I should draw a gold lot of land I wish it equally divided between my wife and children to each one an equal share.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and fixed my seal this third day of December Eighteen Hundred and thirty-two.
It is my wish what my three sons, Francis, Drury and Robert each one have a bed, bestead and furniture or the worth thereof out of my Estate before an equal division of what I have given my wife the use of is divided among my children.
