16 Jan 1847 BOZZAL FREEMAN of Talbot Co, weak in body. To my wife Nancy Freeman during her life or widowhood, all my negoes, stock, etc. So much of my personal property that my wife may not take, together with the lands on which I now live in Talbot Co, Lot #66 in Early Co, #306 in Gilmore Co, all be sold as soon as possible. Balance of proceeds after paying debts to go to wife Nancy. If more money is needed, negro man Sias & negro woman Lila to be sold.

Inasmuch as I have given my sons Fleming, Bozzal, Harris and John Freeman their portion of my estate, they are to have no further share. But at the death or marriage of my wife, her portion to be equally divided among my 5 remaining children: Robert Freeman, James M. Freeman, Andrew J. Freeman, Lucinda Freeman & Nancy Freeman. My daughter Elizabeth Jolly to have $50, she having already received something from me.
