Elmer married Goldie Pearl Duncan daughter of George Duncan and Emma Whitehurst.

He worked at Atlas Foundry in Marion, Indiana as a guard. I remember him as a very kind and generous man that put his family and others before himself. I often wonder how our lives would have been different if he had lived longer. (This picture was given to me by my Dad (Thomas E. Henderson).

He married Joan Darlene Stevens on February 28, 1958 in the Treaty Christian Church, Treaty, Wabash County, Indiana. Joan was the daughter of Milford A. Stevens and Lois Vivian Thompson.

Tom and Joan divorced after 1980 and Tom remarried Alice Eib in VanBuren, Grant County, Indiana on August 02, 1985. Tom and Alice has 1 daughter Melissa Diane Henderson b. February 9, 1987.
