L. Polk & Co. GOLBERG, OLE O., farmer, Canisteo, section 35, was born in Rock Dell Township, Olmsted County, Minn., May 7, 1864. His parents, Ole O. and Guri (Anderson) Golberg, were both natives of Norway. Our subject came to this county in 1888, since which time he has resided there. He received his education in the public schools of Rock Dell Township. He was married in 1888 to Miss Louisa Lee, daughter of Helge and Anna Lee. Mr. and Mrs. Golberg are the parents of seven children, of whom the following survive: Gemanda A., Annetta T., Ella C., Helen O., Nora M., and Oselia L. The family are identified with the Lutheran Church. He usually votes the Republican ticket, and has frequently been called to public service, having held the office of township assessor two years and treasurer of his school district ten years.
