Fred Introduction for Family Stories One hundred and fifty years have passed since the first of my ancestors arrived in this country. During that time they all suffered the trials of survival in a strange country, each with their own story of success. Some happy while others are very sad, but each an interesting historical story of conditions and events in their lives.Over the years I have accumulated a number of stories from interviews with family members and my intent of this page is to present them for what they are, memories, not necessarily facts as required of genealogy. Each month, (time permitting), a different family will be selected and appear here with a few pictures, so you will want to check back frequently - your family may be next. This month's feature is on the Bisplinghoff's, related to the Richter's through Ida, wife of Frederick A. Richter, and were my grandparents. I have accumulated considerable information on the Bisplinghoff's and this is an attempt to record their history, what is known and what is not. It is my hope that by publicizing those items which need clarification and answers to unresolved questions, that I can find someone out there with the answers. In addition, all the pictures I have of the Bisplinghoff's are included, some of which are unidentified. If you can be of any help in clearing these up, I certainly would appreciate it. Please see 'BISPLINGHOFF' for the pictures or 'STORY' for the Bisplinghoff story and notes. I hope you enjoy this new feature. Every life is a story, and if you would like to contribute either your family story or pictures for a future presentation, please contact me.I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the great Tennessee folks who have contributed and helped in so many ways in the compilation of this genealogy data.
