    Andreas was the oldest of eight children and the only child of Johann Adam and Christina Nusbickel who did not come to America with his father, his brothers and sisters. His five year old daughter, Mary came with her aunts and uncles in 1852, and eventually became a school teacher in Lyons, NY. 
    After World War II, Andreas' descendants wrote to Tusanelda Nusbickel Simpson for help and she sent many CARE packages to Germany.
