July 9, 1789: Stephen Ogden assignee of Richard Price (garbled) enters 128 acres of land by virtue of Part of a Land Office Treasury warrant N. 21247 dated 9th Decb. 1783 lying adjoining the east end of Rob't Prestons painted Camp Tract of land including a spring between sd painted Camp, and the head of Cedar Creek and running the several courses for quantity. Feb. 3, 1793: Alexander Murphy assignee of Stephen Odgen withdraws thirty-two acres of his entry made page 54 for 128 acres by part of a warrant N. 21247 dated the 9th day of Decb. 1783 and reenters the same 32 acres by the same warrant lying in Russell County adjoining the land of Robt. Preston on the north side and extending toward George Mutre's for quantity. Feb. 21, 1798: Alexander Murphy transfers his entry of thirty-two acres of land made page 124 to John Murphy. Aug. 30, 1797: Daniel Murphy enters four hundred acres of land by virtue of one land Office Treasury Warrant N. 2191 dated the 13th day of May 1797 for 500 acres beginning on a lypnl(?) tree a corner of Robert Prestons & running with his open line to Richard Prices line & with his line or lines to the sd Prestons line & with his lines to Alexander Murphy's line & from thence to the beginning. Jan. 25, 1798: Daniel Murphy enters fifty acres of land by virtue of part of one land Office Treasury Warrant N. 2191 dated the 13th day of May 1797 lying in Russell County beginning on an Ash tree the beginning corner of George Green's land he now lives on and running with the sd Green's open line to an entry that the sd Green made running with lines there of for quantity. Jan. 25, 1798: Daniel Murphy enters fifty acres of land by virtue of part of one land Office Treasury Warrant N. 2191 lying in Russell County beginning on George Green's open line where the conditional line between the sd Green and James Osburn strikes sd Green's open line and then running with the sd Osburn's open line to the corner then north 80 poles then running to the top of the ridge against the conditional line for quantity. May 14, 1798: Daniel Murphy transfers his two entries of fifty acres of land made the 25th day of Jan. 1798 by part of Warrant N. 2191 to Thomas Hunt. Thomas Hunt transfers his two entries of fifty acres of land transferred to him by Daniel Murphy in this page to George Green. George Green transfers his two entries transferred to him and originally made in the name of Daniel Murphy by warrant N. 2191 to James Osburn. George Green withdraws his second made entry first made in the name of Daniel Murphy by warrant N. 2191 for fifty acres and reenters the same fifty acres by the same warrant. Feb. 20, 1798: Thomas Hunt transfers his first made hundred acres of land made page 199 to John Murphy. Aug. 5, 1795: Thomas Hunt enters one hundred acres of land by (part?) of one Land Office Treasury Warrant N. 1019 dated the 24th day of Decb. 1794 lying in Russell County. Beginning on a Corner of Richard Prices a white oak & binding on his open line & toward Clinch Mountain for quantity. Additional Notes from Pat Murphy Alexander Murphey and wife Sarah sold 96 acres of land to Sword, Michael, which they originally bought on 05 Jun 1790. (no date of sale). Alexander Murphey and wife Sarah sold to Samuel Ritchie fifty acres "north side of Clinch and west side of Hay's Creek beginning at mouth of Hay's Creek and running up said creek the several meanders thereof to Helton's line and with said line to a conditional corner between Helton, Richmond and Murphey. 30 Sep 1809. Indenture made 01 Sep 1806. John and Nancy Richmond to Alexander Murphey.
