what was then called Lyon's Bend . . . In May 1849 he wedded Miss Sarah A.
Martin, a native of Blount County . . . Mrs. Doughty died in 1855 and in
1857 Mr. Doughty married Elizabeth Taylor, of Anderson County . . . In 1877
he married Adelia MURPHY, daughter of the late Maj. JAMES A. MURPHY, of Knox
County.
