Notes:In "St Peters Parish Register & Vestry Book, New Kent & James City Counties, Va., 1684-1786" by Chamberlayne, there appear three entries of 1750, 1751 & 1752, "To Martha (twice) Mary (once) Hight, 300 lbs (tobacco) toward her maintenance." Aged about 56, it might have been this Mary, or the widow of another Hight. No other record found.
