This Indenture made the twenty day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty.

Between Henry Swonger and Elizabeth his wife of New Bethlehem Porter Township Clarion County Pennsylvania of the one part and Henry Girts of New Bethlehem Township County and State aforesaid.

Witnesseth:

That the said Henry Swonger and Elizabeth his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred and sixty Dollars lawful money of the United States unto them in hand paid by the said Henry Girts at or before the sealing an delivery of these presents,the receipts, of which is hereby acknowledged, Have granted, bargained, sold aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents Do grant, bargain, sell alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said Henry Girts.

All that certain piece or parcel of land situated in Red Bank Township Clarion County Pennsylvania.

Bounded and described as follows:

Beginning on the east corner at Red Bank Creek at a Black Walnut Tree, thence down said Creek south fifty two degrees west ninety two percels to a post, thence by lands of Wm Doverspike north twenty six degrees west thirty four percels to a White Walnut, thence north ten degress west ninety three percels to a White Oak, thence north nineteen degrees west fifty two percels to a stone, thence by lands of John Silvis south eighty nine degrees east twenty eight and a half percels to a post, thence by land of Gabriel Miller south twelve degrees east fourty two and a half percels to a White Oak, thence south thirty degrees east eighty six percels to the place of the beginning.

Containing sixty acers and fourteen percels.

Being part of a large tract of land convey by the Commonweath of Pennsylvania to Lewis Doverspike in deed by Patent dated the 24th of March 1829

Enrolled in Patent Book H. Vol 27 Page 17 and part of a large tract conveyed by Ann Wickoff to 1st March 1839 Recorded in Armstrong County Deed Book Vol 7 Pages 581 and 582 and converyed by the heirs of said Lewis Doverspike by deed to Henry Swonger by deed dated 2nd day of April 1850.

Together with all sigulars the building, improvements, ways, water courses, rights, liberties, priviledges, hereditaments and appurtenances, whatsoever thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining and revisions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and also all estate rights title, interest property, claim and demand whatsoever of the said Henry Swonger and Elizabeth his wife, in law, equity or otherwise however, of, in and to the same.

To Have And To Hold said described piece of land with the hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned, and intented so to be, with the appurtenance, unto the said Henry Girts, his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use benifit and behoof of him the said Henry Girts and his heirs and assigns Forever.

And the said Henry Swonger and Elizabeth his wife, doth convenant, promise and agree to and with the said Henry Girts his heirs and assigns by these presents that they the said Henry Swonger and Elizabeth his wife, and their heirs, the said discribed piece of sixty acers and fourteen percels of land hereby granted with appurtenances, unto the said Henry Girts and to his heirs and assigns, against them, the said Henry Swonger and Elizabeth his wife, and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim the same or any part thereof,

Shall And Will Warrant And Forever Defend.

The said Henry Swonger and Elizabeth his wife have to these presents set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.
